Pet care experience
I am a responsible, active and caring dog lover. I live in beautiful Basking Ridge with my wife and our two male Golden’s, Dunkin and Blue. Walks will always be fun, safe, and exciting. My wife and I are both fun, energetic, young professionals who love animals, I work from home full time and decided to restart my Rover account to get out of the house more and help out other dog owners! I grew up with a dog who was a diabetic, had a heart murmur and arthritis so I have a lot of experience giving medication of any type including insulin with a syringe. Currently, my family has a dog named Baxter who lives back in NJ with my parents. I worked from home when he was a puppy so I have experience with training and a lot of messy cleanups! I will do everything to make sure your pup is comfortable and happy in my home. Air conditioning will be on all day (during the summer), a lot of playtime and belly rubs. Also, you can expect daily pictures/videos to ensure you that your dog is being cared for properly (and maybe a bit spoilt!)

James was so good with my Molly, he is responsive and caring. I normally worry when I leave her with someone, but my trip was worry free! I will be calling James when ever I need a dog sitter!

We have had many doggie sitter's over the years and found James to be among the best! James focused on caring for and loving our pups and met their needs in fine fashion. He has a natural calmness that didn't seem to overwhelm the dogs and that was great for our older pups. He is knowledgeable and has a well-educated understanding of caring for dogs especially in our hot weather. He provided plenty of exercise for them and let them nap as much as they wanted. Our two little Shih-Tzu's were comfortable and didn't show any sign of stress under his care. I don't think they missed us at all! His upper-floor apartment does use an elevator but our dogs were familiar with that and the area around his building has very nice sidewalks, grassy and gravel areas for good walking. Highly recommend his care to your dog.

I love cuddly dogs with a lot of attitude and no idea what personal space is! I’m an anxious dog owner myself and have always been hesitant with finding new help/sitters so I’m more than happy to do meet and greets and share whatever you need to know to be comfortable.
A typical day
Walks around town, lots of play time and way too many pictures/videos. If you have a fenced in yard then we’ll get some exercise in with play time but if not then walks will just be longer!

I have a very flexible work schedule and can come and go as I please. Having had to deal with issues finding reliable dog care for our two dogs when we were both in the office, I wanted to offer my services to help other professionals or those who need a long term trustworthy and reliable dog lover!
