Pet care experience
My wife and I are are (were, in my case) professional people. She has lived in Minden 25 years and I have been here 11. Our home is fairly large and comfortable. Our yard is large, fenced and gated. I have had dogs all of my life from English Spaniels, to Labs, Pits, German Shepards and Beagles. My last dog died three years ago and I miss having them around the house. I have always had great rapport with all dogs. I am home alone most of the week and my wife, who works in the Bay Area, is home on weekends. She also loves dogs. We vacation for a week or two about three times a year. I am available most all of the rest of the tme.

Jim was very communicative, professional, and caring. Zeus’ separation anxiety presents as being withdrawn and going on a hunger strike but Jim did his best to get Zeus to eat and made sure he was comfortable & happy relaxing in the yard. If I were not relocating, I would certainly ask Jim to care for Zeus again.
Jim and Barbara are the best. I've only had my 10-year-old rescue Lab mix since February, so I was a little worried about how she would do for our first time apart. She spent 12 days with Jim and Barbara and she quickly became a beloved family member. I so appreciate the excellent care and love they devoted to my Nora. I highly recommend them.
Jim is the best! Couldn't have left our pup in better hands. He kindly gave our aging girl multiple medications and developed an amazing bond after only a few days. Will definitely plan on leaving Bailey with Jim the next time we return to the area!
Jim and Barbra opened their house to my 2 Shelties without reservation for 10 days. I have never left my dogs with anyone before. From the moment I met him I knew in my heart they would be well taken care of. I flew all the way to Alaska and I can’t recommend a better place to leave your dogs. Thank you Jim for being so attentive to their needs and taking such good care of my babies.
