My name is James and I've owned dogs most of my life but my last one was a 14 year old boxer who passed away last August. I raised her from a sickly puppy (who was 4 weeks old and starving when I got her) to a healthy, active, Frisbee loving, fun, clown of a dog. I'm not ready to own another dog just yet but I love dogs and love being around them. I'll get another one eventually but right now I'd rather dog sit for others and gain some experience with different kinds of dogs. I have lots of experience dog sitting. I just hosted a Belgian Shepherd and as I type this I've got my friends Pitbull/Lab mix napping under my chair. I have a nice large back yard. Its not fenced but its very private and I always use a leash when taking dogs outside. I also live close to the green-way so I'll sometimes take the dogs for walks there if its not too hot. I have lots of experience with elderly dogs and especially dogs with hip and joint problems. My house is a ranch so there are no steps to go up and down. House is kept at about 72% all the time. Its nice and quite and since I work from home I'm here most of the time. If I go out for errands or whatever I'm usually not gone for more than 3 hours at a time.
