Pet care experience
Having grown up with both dogs and cats in the family home, I've been the go-to for friends and family alike when it comes to walkies and pet-sitting - sometimes even for weeks at a time (get those holidays in the calendar!) This extensive experience also means I have no problem looking after multiple animals at a time, should you have more than one cat or dog you need minding. And as I'm in my mid-thirties, you can rest assured that you'll have a mature and responsible sitter looking after your prized pooches.

James took care of our two cats, Magnus & Rowan, for two weeks over the summer of 2022, the first time that we had left our cats with someone else. He was incredibly kind and attentive, and both cats quickly warmed to him, a great accomplishment for two very shy cats! James took great care of the cats over the two weeks, keeping us up to date with their progress and letting us know they were settled and acting like their normal selves. When we returned its was obvious that our cats had been looked after well and had experienced no stress at having someone new living with them. We would definitely use James again, and cannot recommend him highly enough.
James has a great approach with cats and dogs and they just adore him. He has looked after my cat on numerous occasions ensuring my cat was well fed, entertained and feeling content. I have also seen him pay the same level of attention to dogs, ensuring their owners wishes are respected and the dogs are happy. Highly recommended.
James has always done a fantastic job of looking after our dog. You can tell immediately that he is a dog person, as he is comfortable and happy to be around them. The feeling is usually mutual and dogs love him too. He is trustworthy, reliable and caring. I would highly recommend him to mind your precious pooches and pups!

Your pet's safety is of paramount importance to me. Doors and windows will always be kept shut, feeding times will always be adhered to, and I'd be more than happy to send updates throughout the day/photos during walks. Knowing that every dog is different, I will tailor my approach to your specific pet. Simply let me know if they are nervous around other animals or have any particular requirements and I will act accordingly. And as I don't drink, you can be safe in the knowledge that you'll always have someone totally focused on looking after your pets and your home.

If your pet has any particular requirements or if they are nervous around other animals or people, just let me know and I can ensure that I will take the necessary steps to keep them calm and make them feel safe. Please have a towel ready for walks on wet days and ideally have your pet's favourite treats and any poo bags ready (although I will have some backups just in case nature calls more than expected!)
A typical day
Walks around the local parks in Bedminster and Southville, fun games at home, going for runs (for high-energy dogs) - every dog is different so I will make sure their specific needs are met!
