I have been around dogs since I was a wee lad. My family has had 8 dogs from the time I was born until I moved to New York. My family has had German Shepards, Labs, Retrievers, a Rhodesian Ridgeback mixed, and an Australian Shepard; I also house sat a pair of Boarder Collie's and Dachshund's as a teenager. While in New York I took care of my sisters Slovensky Cuvac: walked, house sat, and hosted for her off and on for about 2years. She has since moved. I have loved that though out my life I have gotten to know so many different types of dogs, and so I have acquired the skill to gauge the personality and temperament of a dog quickly and accurately, as well as people's attitudes towards dogs. I find this imperative in the city, because of the amount of people and dogs around. Knowing this allows me to care for and have as much fun with the dog as possible, allowing the dog to get ample exercise and play when going to a dog park or on a walk.
