I was a bit nervous to leave Rhea for the first time since our other dog passed away, but James told great care of her. His house is also very spacious and dog-friendly. I would definitely trust him to look after her again.
James went above and beyond to care for our pup while we were out of town!! He was so kind and flexible when our pup had an accident at his place and accommodated her!! We are super grateful!
James was awesome, he took care of Max. His place was neat with a good backyard for the dogs to wander around. Recommeded.
James looked after our dog well and accommodated his sudden need to consume raw food (vs. kibble). His home was well-equipped for a couple of dogs (indoor and outdoor area) and our dog had plenty of company during the stay. Our dog played a ton with another dog that James was looking after. However, we did not get proactive updates about our dog throughout his stay. James agreed to share updates/pictures once a day but we had to keep asking for these, because we were not getting any messages from him. Additionally, while dropping off our dog at his place, we saw his partner pushing our dog away with her feet when he went towards her. We understand that not everyone likes dogs/is an animal person, but we were a bit taken aback considering it was a Rover home.

Schedule
I'm currently working from home and will be able to give your pet all the love and attention they deserve. I'm available all of Monday-Friday. During the summer, I tend to spend my weekends hiking or out in the mountains. If you and your pet approve, I'd love to have an adventure buddy; if not, happy to be couch potatoes too.

I'll treat your pet as if they were part of my family! Your dog will receive ample attention, and I'm open to fulfilling any special requests you may have. Whether it's extra walks for high-energy pups, social outings to the dog park, or assisting with training tasks you assign, I'm here to help. Currently, we don't have any other pets. The space consists of: - The back office, where I work out of, is where we will spend most of our time. It has a couch w/ cover, spare dog bed, hardwood floors, and a spare kennel. The office connects to the kitchen and backyard, your pet will be free to roam as much as they desire. - The backyard has a covered porch, grass lawn area, full six foot fencing, and non-toxic plants. We don't have any rodent problems and I haven't seen any cats in the neighborhood. If your pet doesn't like other dogs, there's plenty of room to explore and play without ever leaving.
