Pet care experience
I’ve grown up with many dogs, cats and even a bird. While living in Whistler the past 10 years I have taken care of a few friends dogs periodically through the year. I love long walks on the trail or playing games at meadow park.I’ve done both boarding and sitting. I have a car so I am mobile to do the drop in walks. I’m new to the app but have been keen to try it for some time!

James has watch our dog several times for weeks when we are away. He is great with our dog always sending photos and updates. Our dog has a few challenges and James always goes out his way to accommodate us and Hershey (our dog)
James is such a wonderful puppy uncle to my German Shepard Sammy! I leave my dog Sammy with him for sometimes up to a month when I travel and I never worry about her because I know she's in the best hands! James is very loving and caring towards all dogs and has lots of experience owning dogs as well as dog sitting and walking. He cares for many of his friend's and family's dog when they go on holiday so he has lots of experience with different breeds as well as dogs with special requirements such as dogs with behavioral problems. Thr best testimonial is from my dog Sammy, when I bring her to stay with James she's always so excited to spend time with her uncle and shes always a bit sad when it's time to go home! James is the best!

The house I have for overnight stays is very spacious! Lots of rooms, couches - essentially lots of spots to sleep on! Great back patio that is blocked off and elevated off the ground. While dog sitting at yours if need be you can expect prompt service for the dog to be walked etc. Aswell as myself being a clean and courteous tenant wherever I go.

How well they are trained for sure! Are they good off leash or no? Friendly? Lots of energy? Do they need 18 hours of sleep a day?
A typical day
I like the long walks and going to Meadow Park to play. The trails in Chekamus are great too. Personal favourite is One Duck lake in Rainbow. Depending how the social the dog is of course. A couple dogs I’ve taken care of are bad with other dogs so I tend to avoid others and walk on secluded trails.

Availability
I predominantly work mornings. Usually off Monday and Tuesday. This winter I will be working a second job so that will equate to double shifts Saturday and Sunday’s. So essentially all week days and nights I would be around through the core winter months.
