I had to put my dog down a little over a year ago because she had kidney disease. She was a Beagle named Oakley and she was my very best friend. She taught me how to love and how to lose. I miss her dearly, and would love to have another dog some day but I have since moved to an apartment which does not allow dogs. Therefore, I would love to have dogs back in my life somehow, which brought me to Rover. I see the connection between humans and dogs and one of the most therapeutic connections that can exist. For me, this part time job would be more therapy for me than anything, but it would also be nice to help people out when their dogs need care :)
