Dogs' and Cats' best friend!
Pet care experience
I have cared for dogs and cats of all ages since I was a child. I have cared for sick pets and those struggling due to the general effects of aging. I am able to keep them calm or active as required.
About James C.
Skills
Safety, trust & environment
My focus is on coming to your home and working within the parameters you set and the routines your pet requires. They have my attention unless they need their space. During my tasks, I will keep in touch with you as often as you need.
Information James C. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know of any physical and temperament issues/challenges of my furry friend. I want to stay within their comfort zone. Of course, I will need to understand their feeding, walking, sleeping, and medicine schedules. I would like to know how much stimulation is too much or too little.
A typical day
As always, this will depend on the dog and the owner's wishes. If we have an enclosed/protected area, for dogs with strong teeth and legs, I find the classic fetch, chase, and tug of war to often be enjoyable for high energy canines. I prefer to walk a dog in areas which are familiar to the dog. Often...the dog is then walking me (I feel no shame in saying that).
