Pet care experience
My partner (May) and I have both grown up around a mix of cats and dogs, from strays to pedigrees, and now have space in our home to care for others. I have raised two puppies and cared for many others, so we're happy to take on younger dogs and provide early socialisation and training. I currently volunteer caring for dogs at a local RSPCA branch where I receive training and experience in dog behaviour and safety. I have looked after dogs and cats for family, friends, neighbours, etc. for most of my life. For any check-ins or walks it will just be myself, and both May and I would be involved during stays with us.

We have never left Pixie with anyone other than family, so when our son was getting married we had no one to leave her with. From my first message with James the service he gave was second to none, he was so helpful. On our first visit we came away feeling happy knowing pixie would be fine staying with him. We received pupdates whilst we were away and knew we didn't have to worry about her. We would definitely recommend James and have already passed his details on. Amazing people! So caring & attentive, teddy had a lovely time at James & May’s 5 star doggy hotel! We wouldn’t leave our pooch with anyone else! We were regularly updated with pics & stories 😊 Thank you again , Mick, Sarah, Harry & teddy (woof woof)
Amazing! James and May had Scruffy overnight for us to enjoy our wedding and they kept in contact with the best pup dates and amazing pictures. Would always recommend these guys and 100% take Scruffy to see them again
Great sitters! Already booked again! Great updates and the girls seemed to love it there! Secure garden and the dogs were allowed on the furniture. By the sounds of it they particularly liked the big sofa in the window!

We accept multiple dogs at once, but only from the same household so we guarantee they will get along. I have a fenced garden and plenty of space for your fur baby inside and out. I can accommodate most arrangements with regards to crating and maintaining your own house rules.

A typical day
Our aim is to make sure your dog gets the enrichment they need to make them happy. This doesn't look the same for all dogs, so we'll take your lead and what we learn over time to make sure we're providing the right balance of activities and rest. Activities can include anything from mental stimulation with a puzzle toy to exercise like a long walk through local fields and forests.

I am currently working from home full time. Outside of a few hours spent on calls per day I am in charge of my own schedule, so I'm free to play with any pups as much as they can handle!
