I have had animals in my house for as long as I can remember. My biggest responsibility was raising a highly energetic Goldendoodle from the age of 14. I am a recent Colorado School of Mines graduate with a bunch of time on my hands, and am willing to take your dogs for 1mi+ runs and walks. The only picture I have of myself with am animal is a cat because I prefer to spend my time engaging with dogs instead of taking pictures with them. I'm currently living with my sister who has a dog and a cat that I provide about half of the care for. Other than that, my availability on Rover should be accurate to when I can care for your pets. I absolutely love animals. I will follow your care instructions, but will also care for your animal as if they are my own. My goal is for your pet to feel like I am an extension of its family rather than some random person that watches after them for a couple days.

Highly recommend Jalon! He house sat for us while watching 2 of our 4 pups. He also watered our front yard garden as well...he did a wonderful job. Dogs were well taken care of. House was spotless...he even washed the sheets and towel that he used! Didn't need to do that - but it was very thoughtful.
Jalon watched our cat for a long weekend. He was great and very reliable. We will definitely use him again!
Jalon was awesome, I will totally use him again. The dogs immediately took a liking to him. I left knowing that they were in good hands. He is very responsible, and he sent some pics throughout the day.
Jalon was wonderful with Lizzo and provided plenty of communication and photos!

The most important information for me to now before meeting your dog is how they interact with people and other dogs. I can generally handle most other quirks a dog might have.
A typical day
I prefer to take dogs on walks or runs that are close to their limit for endurance. If there is an opportunity, I will take you dog down streets they are not super comfortable with (only if I am familiar with the area). I will also try to find things that slightly annoy, but do not physically or emotionally harm your dog (for my doodle he didn't like his back right foot being touched, so I would make a point to poke it every now and then just to the point where he would start to get upset with me). This helps keep them mentally active, and provides a good opportunity to initiate playing.
