I cannot recommend my Rover dog sitter enough! They provided exceptional care for [German Shepherd Mitsuri while I was away. I had the best experience with Jalisa as my sitter! Their care and attention to detail were outstanding. They treated my dog like family and kept me updated throughout the stay. It was such a relief knowing Mitsuri was in such capable and loving hands. I highly recommend them for anyone in need of a reliable and caring dog sitter. Five stars all the way!
Jalisa is the absolute best! I went on a two week vacation to Italy and was nervous because I had never left my furbaby Jonas alone for more than a day and he had just came down with an ear infection a few days prior. I lucked up with Jalisa because they eased that anxiety by sending pictures, updated me Jonas’ health, and they were very respectful of my home. I definitely feel better about booking another trip knowing Jonas is in good hands!!
Jalisa is an amazing and sweet young women. She has provided a lot for my dog by feeding him, clipping his nails, and also teaching him tricks. She is more than capable of taking care of your pets and is someone that I can definitely trust with my dog.
I have a one year old chow chow named Logan . I was a little nervous to leave him seeing that he hasn’t been around many people. But im glad I chose her to watch him . She made me feel safe and comfortable the entire time . She is prompt, reliable, trustworthy and will update me when I'm out of town which is always comforting. I don't know what we would do without her! I love how Jalisa pays attention to detail. She wanted to make sure that she knew my little guy, from his treats and his routine down to the way he likes to play ball. I will definitely come to her again!

Recreationally I’ll cat-sit periodically for my girlfriend, and that involves feeding at scheduled times, overall maintenance and care and plenty of petting. On a client basis I provide the same level of care with plenty of updates.

It’s important to be aware of any dietary needs as well as getting accustomed to their daily routine i.e. their walking and eating schedule. Breed and size also is important. Different dog breeds have distinct characteristics, energy levels, exercise needs, and potential health issues. Additionally any potential medications needed.
A typical day
As the person responsible for watching the dogs, I have the opportunity to engage them in various enjoyable activities. For example play time and fetch, nature walks/hikes and brain games/training. If you’re booking from the New Jersey area I know plenty of local parks your pups will more than enjoy. The New York area is even easier as my sister is a experienced rover sitter and has given me plenty of recommendations.
