Pet care experience
I have always had a passion for animals growing up so I began taking care of dogs by the time I was 13. My experience prior to joining Rover just a few months ago has allowed me to become fully equipped with all the knowledge I needed to know to provide the best care for my clients.

Jalena has been great. She’s very responsive and keeps me up to date on how my dog is doing. I plan on keeping her as my main dog walker.
This was our first time using Rover and we were so blessed to be find Jalena! Jalena took excellent care of Reba and our house. Reba was very relaxed and tired when we arrived, which was wonderful! We could tell she was well taken care of while we were away. Our house was spotless too! We look forward and Reba looks forward to seeing Jalena again!

My German shepherd Sophie is always excited to see Jalena. She is very reliable and always comes on time. She keeps me updated during the visits and does a great job with Sophie!

I am an avid animal lover! I offer dog walking, plenty of play-time, and endless cuddles! I intend to treat your pups as my own and they are helping me mentally as much as I am helping them. Mental health is a huge priority for me (even with animals), so I always want to make sure that I can diminish their anxiety as much as possible and have them feeling good when their parent(s) are not around :)

A typical day
Typically, my plan of care depends on the dog but I like to incorporate a good balance of relaxation and exercise. I enjoy going on walks (as your pups probably do too) and bringing comfort to them in their own home.

Availability
I am currently an undergraduate student at UIC studying Applied Psychology and Global Asian Studies. Although I am double majoring, I am only on campus for a total of four hours a day maximum (including commute). I update my calendar regularly so my schedule is always up to date :)
