I have known Jake for at least 13 years and lived with him for the last two. During our two years of living together, we have had many pets together. As we’ve always lived in the same small apartment, we are unable to get a dog, and we have two energetic ferrets at the moment. Jake grew up with a rescue lab/pitbull mix, and for as long as I’ve known the two of them, Jake is always the first person that Marley will greet when we return to our hometown, without a doubt. Dogs feel comfortable around humans that they know they can trust, that will treat them will care, but also with lots of energy. Dogs feel comfortable around Jake. That is what you and your dog will be getting from Jake as a dog-walker – compassion, energy and a very trustworthy individual. I know that Jake is great with all different sized-dogs. He is physically strong yet gentle-hearted. From seeing him interact with our small ferrets to my childhood dog – a world-class leash puller – I know that he will be able to handle any and all types of dogs. While we are unable to have a dog at this point in time, I know that Jake would love to be given the chance to take care of dogs. As a graduate student in a Marriage and Family Therapy program, Jake is responsible, trustworthy, and caring.
