I had a personal family dog for 8 years who was my absolute best friend. My family had one rule and that was that I needed to take her for walks and run her. She instantly became my best friend. We just recently had to let another family adopt her after I moved away for school. My relationship with my family dogs, friends dogs and my dogs are special and strong. I miss the responsibility of having a little friend to accompany myself on an exercise or something to give a little love to, since I can no longer express that for my own! I come from a small town where every family member and friend I had had a dog of their own. Some of them I treat as if they are my own. Now in Toronto, I’m looking for a side job as a student (one that really loves dogs). I am very responsible, patient, organized, and energetic and feel very comfortable around dogs. I have had dogs with unique personalities throughout my childhood: the small terrier, the energetic lab, and an old dog, also several cats. My interaction with pets are very natural and my relationship with them are very organic. I also volunteered at an annual dog festival in my hometown in 2014 and 2016.
