Massive Fenced Yard, 2 Awesome Pups
Pet care experience
I (Jake) did pet sitting and dog walking for three years professionally in Savannah and in Los Angeles without any complaints or incidents! Now my wife and I work mainly from home, with one of us being there 95% of the time. We have two super friendly and super active pups, Penny & Eko, who love to play and meet new friends! My wife, Nikki, is the most animal-friendly person on the planet and will take better care of your animals than she does for me. ;-) We primarily like to host dogs so that our pups can meet new friends and have more fun playing throughout the day. Our roommate, Raven, is also a massive animal-lover and helps us tremendously with taking care of the dogs! She loves to cuddle and play with all the dogs we host. Whenever Nikki and I are away from the house, Raven is most-likely there! Her number is also listed in our profile, so if you need to get ahold of someone you have 3 contact numbers to try. We have a doggy door that leads into our "dog room," which is basically just a big room with dog beds, crates and a water fountain. We have artificial turf on the near section of the yard and then all sorts of fun bushes, vines, stumps and trees all the way to the corners of our property. The dogs have access inside and outside from about 6:30AM to around 11:30PM, so they can come and go in and out as they please. Our schedules are fairly easy. Most of the time one of us is at the house. And I'd say 60% of the time we both are at the house, so the pups get tons of attention and playtime with humans as well as other dogs! As stated, our yard is very big and completely fenced in. We also have a dog door installed in the side of the house so that the pups can access A/C whenever they want to! Our biggest ask is that you show up on time for pickup and dropoff. We schedule our lives (meetings, errands, meals, etc) around the times that you put into your requests. So please be prompt and give as specific a time as possible.
Reviews
Skylar loved her time at Jake and Nikki's home! They have a great set up for dogs- amazing backyard, doggie door, constant fresh water flowing, and their own doggie room! Loved getting videos of our pup playing also!
Pretty sure our dogs would live with Jake and Nikki full time if we’d let them! Such an amazing setup. We are all grateful and can’t wait for next time!
Just picked up our dog after our first time using Jake and Nikki for boarding. Our dog doesn’t use a crate at home but did great with them. She seems happy and tired after all her playing. Will definitely book with them again.
probably the best place for my dog yet!

Like we stated, we've got a massive fenced in yard with plenty of things to explore. Dogs love it. We also have a very comfortable "dog room" with dog beds, crates, filtered water and plenty of space to play. We feed the dogs in individual crates or separate spaces in our house to eliminate any food aggression that might happen. All the dogs sleep in individual crates at night so everyone has a chance to rest peacefully and recharge for the next full day of playing. Even dogs who aren't usually crated tend to take to it very well at our house, as it's just part of the routine for the pack. (They also learn to equate the crate with food, so most of them love going in, haha)

Information Jake & Nikki G. would like to know about your pet
There are a few things we'd like to know before hosting a dog or dogs. The first is easy, are they friendly with other dogs and humans? Do you, or have you had the need to, muzzle your dog? We have two dogs and there will be other dogs on property almost daily, as well as guests staying at our house. We can only host dogs who are very friendly with other dogs and people. The second is, are they on any medication? An obviously important one. The third is their feeding schedule and information. Are they grazers? Do they have a set time to eat? Are they allergic to anything? And so on...
A typical day
We play tons of fetch, as well as encouraging pups running around the yard chasing each other. We sometimes also play tug-of-war and other fun games. We generally don't take the dogs on routine walks, as they tend to get PLENTY of exercise running around the yard playing, but we will occasionally take them out on neighborhood walks if we feel so inclined.

Availability
We work from home most of the time so we're generally around to play with the pups and keep an eye on them! They have free run of inside and outside through the dog door, and dogs who don't know how to use the door learn it within a day most of the time :)
