Hey it’s Jake McCollum! I’m based out of Austin, Tx & I’d love to spend some time with your fur babies! Growing up I had all kinds of animals ranging from dogs, cats, birds, hamsters, just about everything! I’ve been dog sitting for family & friends for years now before Rover was ever a thing. This job is perfect for me because of my flexibility, knowledge, athleticism, & love for caring for animals. I even find myself at Zilker Park every day because I love seeing everyone else with their fur babies! (I unfortunately don’t have any of my own right now) 1 of my main goals in life is to have my own dog but at this current time in my life it doesn’t make sense for me. So being able to care & love for YOUR fur babies would truly make me happy & excited for when I’m able to have my own ❤️

Jake is a wonderful pet sitter, with both cats and dogs. He has taken care of both my dog and cat for years at my personal residence and they love him! Jake is charismatic, smart, and an overall amazing person. You should have no doubts in trusting him to take care of your little fur babies. He is also a runner, so taking dogs on walks or runs is no sweat to him. I am very grateful I found someone as wonderful as him for my babies!
Jake is a great, responsible care giver of pets. He has taken care of my Shih Tzu, Max when I have had to go out of town.

A typical day
I’d love to be informed by the owners what their pets enjoy doing & do exactly that. But also just lots of pets & playing. I personally love walks and getting active so a lot of that as well!
