We have a backyard with dirt for the dog to use the restroom. We have a first floor and upstairs which are hardwood and plenty of space for the dog to feel comfy. Our house is always clean and we do not care if the hardwood floor gets scratched. There is a park with lots of yard for the dog to play ball or run around. Our backyard is fenced in as well.
