Jake is THE ABSOLUTE best. To say I was a nervous wreck before leaving my puppy for the first time would be an understatement. I never thought I'd be one of those dog moms, and there I was... overthinking every move. Jake made it easy. I left my Golden Newfie with Jake for 9 nights! A big first trip for our first time away. Jake was extremely communicative and sent me the BEST pictures and updates every day. I was immediately put at ease. Jake and his roommates have a spacious apartment - plenty of a room for a big dog like mine - and a balcony! Jake also took my pup on long walks to Central Park frequently... I knew she was in good hands! Plus... Jake stepped up in a BIG way while I was gone. My pup unexpectedly went into heat while I was away (2 weeks before her spay appointment)!!! Talk about terrible timing. I was panicked, but Jake handled everything perfectly. He had taken the initiative to call my vet, and was willing to take her in for an appt if needed. He certainly never signed up to have a dog bleeding in his apartment, and I am so grateful for the care and attention he showed Wixy. When I picked her up she was full of smiles, wearing a diaper, and super sad to leave him! I will 100% use Jake again the next time we go away!

Jake is undoubtedly the best dog sitter you can find on Rover in NYC. I couldn’t have dreamt of a better experience! Jake took an amazing care of my mini Australian shepherd Bear - I could tell Bear felt like home and had a great time! Jake gave me a peace of mind by sending adorable pictures and videos of Bear playing, exercising and enjoying himself. It is important to mention that Jake is a great pet photographer, the pictures from him made me laugh every time!:) I am so grateful I discovered Jake, I would highly recommend him, both you and your pup would love the experience!
