Hello there, my name is Jake. I am from a family of major animal lovers. I have had cats, dogs, birds, a leopard gecko and I have worked with other reptiles throughout my childhood and adulthood. So, I have plenty of personal experience with different animals. I currently have an adorable, sweet tuxedo cat named Sabrina, and she is a big part of my life. I care about the well-being of all animals and I take care of pets like they’re my own. I look forward to meeting you all!

I have so many toys for Sabrina and I play with her everyday to keep strengthening our bond and give her the mental stimulation and physical exercise she needs. So, depending on the animal, and service, I would provide similar care and play, while also making sure all needs are met.
Information Jake D. would like to know about your pet
I ask that owners let me know ahead of time if their pets have any special needs (e.g. dietary, giving medications, is deaf or blind, etc.) or if there is any dog or cat aggression. I want to keep us all safe and happy, while also making sure that I’m within my scope of care I’m able to provide.
A typical day
As I mentioned above, I make sure to play with each animal I pet-sit for, listening to how they best play (whether with toys, lots of physical exercise, etc.). Play is how you get to know an animal’s personality better, while also building trust and making sure all aspects of their needs are met.

Availability
I work full time, and have Wednesdays and Thursdays completely off. Times vary on my work days, but I am able to do walks or drop-ins before or after work shifts.
