WFH couple w/ fenced yard & dog run
Pet care experience
Doggos are life! Don’t stuff your dog in a sitter’s apartment or with 15 other Rover dogs while you’re away. Give them access to a beautiful home and fenced backyard with huge trees and an artificial turf dog run! *Please read our profile completely before booking.* WE ARE CURRENTLY ONLY ACCEPTING BOOKINGS FROM REPEAT CLIENTS AND REFERRALS AT THIS TIME. MAHALO! We’re obsessed with our rescues and can’t imagine a home without dogs in it. We both work from home and want to make ourselves available to others who don’t have that luxury. For us this is a hobby, not a business, so we limit our Rover pups to 2 so we can give them all the attention and love that our 2 pups get (4 dogs max at 1 time). We have plenty of dog sitting experience that includes dietary limitations and medication requirements. With a set of written instructions or a video, we can confidently replicate your home routine!
Reviews
Jake and Cheyenne looked after our dog for almost 2 weeks over the Thanksgiving holiday. As always, they were extremely helpful and flexible, and they took great care of our dog while we were out of the country. They provided constant updates, pictures, and videos, and made us feel comfortable with being away from our dog for so long! We're repeat clients of theirs, and will continue to use them whenever we're out of town. Highly recommended!
Jake & Cheyenne took fabulous care of Hazel. They were communicative, responsible, patient, and sent fun video/photo updates. I could tell Hazel felt super comfortable in their home and she came home tuckered out. Will definitely book with them again!
Jake and Cheyenne are great! We’ve use them multiple times for boarding and I trust that they are caring for my pup as if he is one of theirs. They send multiple photos and videos daily and he is always having the best time. Highly recommend!
Jake and Cheyenne are the absolute best! They're super communicative, send lots of pictures and videos, and take great care of our energetic dog. I highly recommend them for anyone looking for dog sitting or boarding.

On nice days, we often leave the back door open so the pups can come and go as they please, but they’re never outside completely unattended. We keep an eye through big windows and several cameras to determine how much supervision they need. You can also communicate your preference and we will supervise accordingly! We’re happy to crate your dog, we always separate for feeding, and more as required. We don’t allow our dogs on furniture without a “dog sheet/blanket” on special occasions. If you’re pup usually takes to the couch, we will ask them to hop off, but we know it comes with the territory of dog sitting and that it’s our expectation to manage. It’s mostly to limit fur. We have a high dog-to-bed ratio, 1:4 😅 and we often lay with them on our area rugs in front of the fire while watching tv or reading. We hope this is an acceptable compromise! Our home has hard floors throughout. We ask that our visiting pups are 8 months or older and decently mannered. High energy is okay. We’d happily accommodate a meet-n-greet to help everyone feel more comfortable with the fit! We’ve faced unexpected (by both us and owners) damage primarily to scratches on doors. Excitement is totally fine, but they must be non-destructive to furniture, they cannot paw at doors, and must be okay with being around 2 female dogs. Replacing a glass door is costly and would offset months and months of profits from watching pups. If that happens, it would make it very hard for us to continue offering our services. We really appreciate your understanding! So far, we’ve found that some large, dominant females (80lbs+) tend to clash with ours. Ours have gotten along with males of all sizes so far (7lbs to 100 lbs). If your large female is chill or submissive, it’ll probably be fine!

Information Jake & Cheyenne F. would like to know about your pet
We welcome any pup older than 8 months. We don’t have much puppy experience. Any breed except Rottweilers (For now. There’s some history there). We can accommodate most any medication or feeding schedule with clear instructions! It would also be helpful to know how much of an escape artist your pup is and any other social or behavioral quirks we should be aware of - flipping food or water bowls, barking at ______, etc. None of those are disqualifies, just changes how we keep an eye on them!
A typical day
We have an incredible surrounding area for walks - 2 parks, side sidewalks, and beautiful greenery. Dog parks are too unpredictable for our taste, so we brought the park to us with our backyard turf fetch run. Our dogs don’t really like to roughhouse with other dogs much, and everyone gets plenty of exercise through other means like walks and fetch. If your dog likes fetch, they will be in heaven!

Availability
When we’re sitting, we’re rarely both gone for more than 2 hours. If we have an event scheduled for longer than that, we will confirm with the owner before leaving them home unattended for longer than 2 hours. We walk often around the parks near our house (every day on summer mornings) and fetch in the backyard on our 70ft artificial turf dog run! We can feed and play on practically any required schedule.
