Pet care experience
I grew up pet-sitting for my friends and neighbors, taking care of everything from an excitable 12 week old puppy, to a talkative pair of parakeets, to an ancient white cat with dietary problems. In college, I furthered my love of animals by volunteering as a puppy-sitter for service dogs in training through Canine Companions for Independence, where I developed strong puppy care and training skills. I can clean up dog messes, aid in leash training, play fetch for ages, and more! I love animals, and my friends and neighbors have trusted me as their go-to pet-sitter for providing nurturing, competent dog care. I'm skilled in adult and senior dog care, and am happy to integrate any special routines that your and your pup have. I'm looking forward to meeting your dog!

Jake has been great! We left town for a week, and he housesat for our high energy golden retriever puppy (8 months). She seemed very happy and well taken care of when we came home. House was spotless. He was very responsive and sent daily pics. Highly recommend!
Jake took care of my two cats for 4 days and three nights. He did a great job, checking in with us frequently. He treated Stella like royalty and was diligent in trying to establish a bond with Linus but he is still pretty feral. We are super happy with Jake and he is definitely on our list of pet/house sitters.

A typical day
My goal is giving your pet the best day ever! I can take your dog to the park to play, entice your cat with the cat dancer toy, and give them lots of attention. As I get to know your pet better, I can do even more activities that they like so that we can have even more fun together.

I'm typically available from 10 am to 8 pm for walking, check-ins, and playtime, and can pet- and house-sit on weeknights and weekends. I'll happily coordinate with you to make a schedule that works best.
