Pet care experience
Being an animal lover (especially dogs), since young, we currently have an amazing rescue Tod (pictured), and have also fostered guide dogs in the past before they leave for their forever homes. I also have two rabbits that I rescued, named Gob and Buster!

Jake was wonderful with my nervous dog. He was patient and got Smudge to trust him. Jake took the time every walk to make my dog feel comfortable and it made me feel less stressed being away knowing my dog was in good hands
Jake was amazing! It was my first time using Rover & a pet sitter and I was happy with his communication before ad during my trip. Got home from my trip and all pets were happy and chill. He was attentive to their needs and sent updates on their well-being, which was a comfort for me. Will definitely be booking again.
I couldn’t be happier and thankful that I found Jake - rather last minute for my baby. Jake was attentive, communicative and I could tell that he enjoyed looking after Tyke! 100% recommend him as a walk walker or sitter or for boarding!

A typical day
From long walks in the park to enrichment activities (puzzles, games, foraging, etc.), I love finding creative and fun ways to keep animals engaged! Plus, nothing tires an animal out more than a physically and mentally stimulating activity.

I currently work part time coaching youth basketball, as well as I formerly played professionally over in Europe; but now I spend my free time looking to help animals and owners who may need a little bit of assistance!
