Happy Day Play and Stay
Pet care experience
Ive taken care of animals since I was 5 years old. Our first family dog was a border collie/gsd mix. We've always had cats, dogs or both in the house, and it has been my responsibility to care for them ever since.
Reviews
Jake was an awesome sitter. Very good on keeping me updated while I was away. Shadow is a shy dog around other people, but Jake made sure he felt at home and safe around him. Very good job !!
We could not ask for a better dog sitter. Jake treated our dog like he is family. On a daily basis he took pictures and our dog looked so happy!!! Highly recommend and will definitely use Jake again
Jack was very good at keeping me posted on how my little guy (toby) was doing. He sent pictures and video, also was quick to respond to my inquiries.
Jake is incredibly knowledgeable of training animals and will be flexible to meet your needs of schedule. Highly recommend his business as he is reliable and trustworthy

First thing, we get up right around 5 a.m. to go out and begin our day. We give alot of individual time between each animal, and slowly work them into an appropriate social setting. We take our time and don't rush anything. Animals in my care are fed on a strict schedule, no free food. Water is always offered up until 9 p.m., and everyone is crated by midnight. When unattended, ALL pets will be put in their place or into a crate to ensure they are safe and not engaging in destructive behavior. *All animals under my care receive some form of structured training for at least 30 minutes per day. This can be anything from leashwork and door manners, to behavior modification like reactivity, aggression, and anxiety. We use the most modern and humane methods and tools. This includes the use of slip leads, prong collars, ecollars, bark collars, etc. For example, if your dog does NOT do well in the crate, we approach the situation with an open mind and a balanced toolkit.

Information Jake B. would like to know about your pet
Mandatory Meet & Greet, 10 question survey: What is your pets name? What is their breed? How old are they? What is the sex of your animal? Is your pet neutered/spayed? Is there a history of food aggression and violence? Do they display dominant or submissive behavior? Any reactivity towards animals/kids/strangers? What do they like to do? Favorite food/toy/activity Any medications, vaccinations, and allergies I need to be aware of? (insulin, parvo, food protein allergy, etc.)
A typical day
We have a fenced backyard to explore and play in. There is a big park right by our house just a 5 minute walk away. Our neighborhood is quite nice and pretty quiet for the most part. We have 6 dogs, of all different sizes and temperaments, at the house to interact with. While unattended all pets will be in the crate, this is to ensure their safety while in my care. *Feeding: We are not expected to provide food for your animals. If you want them to eat during daycare or boarding, you are expected to bring food during drop-off. We do not leave food out, and food is given at the discretion of your care provider.
