While working at animal rescues, one of my priorities was to oversee each animals’ habits and note even the slightest of changes with their behavior or health. I have high speciality in both dogs and cats but my cat speciality will exceed your expectations. Please read further below about my cat care. *Please take note that I do NOT offer dog walking. I can take your dog out to potty on leash for up to 10 minutes but I do NOT offer dog walks during my visits. I am pet first aid certified since 2014. I have my certification card on me at all times and it is renewed annually. My cost is for quality. Many people love animals and many people know how to scoop food into a bowl. What I have to offer is far beyond that. I am educated, pet first aid certified, and my vast experience is what makes me a good pet sitter. I understand animal behavior and I connect to them. I feel connected to animals because my heart is so fond of them. I take the time and patience it takes to understand them and provide the respect that they deserve. Animals require far much more understanding than the average person is aware of. And I am here to present your pet with such care, respect and love when you are not available for them. ♡ Details regarding my experience and qualifications: I am very observant and treat every animal as my own. I am educated on the appropriate approach towards animals and general animal behavior. I have patience and will take endless amounts of time to be able to provide your pet's care above par. I worked professionally at an animal rescue in Texas called the Animal Rescue Foundation of Texas for over three years and Seal Beach Cat Rescue Center for 2 years. My passion for animals in incredibly strong. I have done pet sitting for 11 years. I am experienced mainly with cats, dogs and horses but have worked with birds and reptiles as well. I am very experienced on all aspects of animal care, you name it. Bathing/grooming, medicating, feeding, training, etc. I have experience with pregnant animals with their special care and advisory needs. Also experienced with very young animals, as young as they come! I have actually assisted the birth of many kittens, puppies and even horses. I have bottle fed both puppies and kittens for 14 years. One of the rescues I worked for took place in a veterinary office and the other rescue, I worked as a Medical Assistant for kittens up to cats of all ages. I am very educated on medical needs, medications, etc. without the college degree. I am very experienced with diabetic animals; I cared for a cat with diabetes in the rescue for over three years as well as diabetic client animals. This includes administering insulin, testing blood glucose, observing behavior and water intake, and specific feeding. I have experience as a veterinary technician and have shadowed many veterinarians before and even watched surgeries. Friends of mine always contact me when they have an issue with their pet to find helpful tips on what to do! ☆ My experience with ill animals and administering medication: This is what sets me apart. I am very experienced with medicating animals and handling animals with serious and mild health conditions. I have training and experience in (not limited to): topical ointments, medicated baths, oral pills, oral liquids, injections, fluids, IVs, ear medications and treatments, eye drops, eye ointments, nebulizer, inhaler, checking blood sugar levels, supplements etc. you name it! I have handled animals with diabetes, kidney disease, asthma, UTIs, URIs, immune disorders, skin diseases, chronic gastrointestinal problems, and other serious chronic health problems over very long periods of time. I also am very knowledgeable on different ailments, medications, changes in behavior, etc. I am trained to take notice of even the slightest behavior and health changes. CATS: 🐱❤️ I specialize in cat care. I have high specialty in dogs as well but my cat care will exceed your expectations. I’m not only a cat whisperer but I will become even the shyest of cat’s best friend. I have expertise in cat behavior and medical care so I can easily take note of even the tiniest changes in health or behavior. Cats are very sensitive animals so I will easily notice the tiny details of your cat and inform you about it. Reading a cat’s energy and behavior is a specialty only obtained by those with the experience and the true heart for cats. I am able to understand and read their body language like it’s second nature. I will never force a cat to do anything that makes them uncomfortable. As much as I want to pet every cat ever, not ever cat is open to that right away. I will take the time to get to know your cat and read their mood and naturally become friends. It’s my pleasure to spend time with cats so please do consider me for your cat’s care, I will not disappoint you! Although I am not officially, professionally trained on animal training, I am very experienced with it. I was head dog trainer at the rescue and have worked with my own dogs and have taken dog training courses. Along with reading books about animal behavior, etc in my free time. I am also well rounded and trained in pet nutrition and offer advice and nutritional help on the side. ♡ Additional Info: My Rover report cards are very detailed and specific. Each report card I leave for you after finishing a visit will be many lines long, sometimes even paragraphs. I will inform you on each task I did, any notes on your pet that you should know and everything that we did together during each visit. I take many photos as well!
