Jaime is a GODSEND. I've only had my 1.5 year old rescue dog for a month and a half, and Jaime made me feel at ease right upon meeting her that she would take the best care of Lucy. She's active, fun, very sweet and genuinely loves dogs and getting to know them. While Lucy's stay with Jaime started out as a fairly routine stay, it ended up being quite eventful and Jaime was so understanding and accommodating where I feel other sitters would not have been. Since Lucy is a rescue dog, she was scheduled to be spayed two weeks after I returned from my trip. In the three days she was in Jaime's care -- she ended up going into heat. While Jaime normally does not sit for dogs who are not spayed or neutered she made the exception for Lucy, and unfortunately the worst thing that could have happened did. Jaime gave me updates and took the best care of Lucy (clearly I will be reimbursing her for anything in terms of dry cleaning/diapers, etc.). She was calm and very understanding of the situation and made Lucy as comfortable as possible while I was on my trip feeling so awful for having put her (Jaime) in this situation. I highly recommend Jaime for dog-sitting and she will be my first choice going forward if I ever have the need for a sitter in the future!

At the end of the day, what qualities do you want and need in the caretaker of your pet: 1) animal lover 2) responsible 3) dependable 4) and CARES. Jaime possesses all those qualities. Your pet is a family member and Jaime understands that. Didn't hesitate to provide this recommendation.
