As a professional animal care advocate at the area’s premiere no-kill shelter, I apply my passion for animal care daily. At home I have two dogs and a cat and have fostered many dogs, cats, and kittens! I work with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments.

Jaime connected with our pups immediately. She was watching not only my pup, but my daughters two puppies. My daughter was nervous leaving her babies, but Jaime sent daily reports and pictures that made us both smile, She slept in my bed, and when we came home, the sheets were being washed, which was above, and beyond what I expected. We were extremely happy.
Jaime is the best! She treats all of our pets just like they were her own. I don't trust anyone with my kids except for Jamie. Plus how could you ever find someone better when Jamie works at the Humane Society. Well of course not. Hire Jamie you won't be sorry.
Where do I begin? Scruffy is a 12ish year old terrier mix that loves other dogs, but strange people in strange places? Not so much… it’s always very difficult for me to find a reliable person to watch him in my home. I travel for business a lot and some hotels (gasp!) just don’t take dogs anymore. Well, him and I need to eat, so I have to work. We found Miss Jaime through recommendation of a mutual business connection and decided to give her a try. Within minutes of meeting her, Scruffy jumped on her lap and plopped down. It was love at first sight for him and after finding out she is employed by the Humane Society of Sarasota County, we knew Miss Jaime was the one for the job. We are over the moon happy with her services and now proud to call her a friend. 100/10 stars. Highly recommend

I believe having a pet sitter at your home should offer all the comforts of home like adhering to their regular schedule, but should also include some perks outside the norm so your pet feels it is a special “treat” to have me come and stay. Playtime, special walks, or outings with your approval are all included at your discretion!

I am employed full-time for an animal care facility in a role that allows me flexibility of schedule, so while I will be away from your home to work, I can do mid-day visits in addition to overnights. I have the ability to adhere to your dog’s schedule!
