I am a professional dog walker, pet sitter, and I have my own Cat Behavior Consulting business. Most of my life I have cared for dogs, but over the past few years I have moved toward specializing in cats. This is both because I LOVE them, but also because they are so misunderstood and need more people who can advocate for them. I walk several dogs for clients on an almost daily basis. When I am not caring for dogs, I am training with cats, raising foster kittens, or doing TNR (trap/neuter/release) with free roaming cats. I plan to have a sanctuary for sick and senior cats, which is my goal/dream. I have 3 cats, and one walks on leash with us and loves to go on rides in his stroller. I am a big advocate of proper nutrition, and I am well versed in species appropriate nutrition. I hold a certificate in feline nutrition. I also have a certificate of professional dog training through CASI (Companion Animal Sciences Institute). I can care for a variety of animals, including reptiles, fish, and small mammals. I used to have a rabbit, hamsters, and guinea pigs. I am pretty well versed in rabbit care and diet, and regularly offer nail trims and clean their scent glands.
