Let’s be pet pals

Pet care experience

I’ve lived in a home with many pets from big and small dogs to reptiles and birds. No matter the size or breed I treat pets like family. My goal is to make sure they are safe and happy in my care. I am training for a half marathon at the end of summer and I am more than happy to take your dog for a run or bike ride to help them get some of that extra energy out and also help me train for race day! I love pets of all shapes and sizes and I’m looking to make a little extra cash on the side while doing something I love… Which is hanging out with the sweetest of fur babies!

Jaime is a true animal lover! She is dedicated to ensuring that all animals that she takes care of are treated like one of her own. Very reliable and goes over and above when helping any animals, whether it's checking in on them and feeding them or taking the dogs for a needed run. Highly recommend.

Jaime has cared for my 9yr old pug Charlie and he's always happy to see her. Charlie is a serious mama's boy and has a lot of anxiety when we are separated but Jame has become one of a small handful of people that he's comfortable to be with. She's a hands on caregiver and often sends me pictures of them cuddling on the couch or out for a walk! I highly recommend Jaime to anyone looking for sitter :)

Safety, trust & environment

I treat clients pets as if they were my own. Depending on your parenting style I look to follow your lead to be more or less strict with your furry friend. My goal is to be someone your pet remembers and gets exited to spend time with.

Information Jaime E. would like to know about your pet

Let me know if your dog has any special needs or any behaviours I should be aware of. How they behave around other dogs and people, any triggers they might have, and any special treatment needed. This way I can plan for best places to walk your dog, where to avoid and in general how to give your pup the best experience possible. I also like to know what your house rules are for the dog and what their regular schedule is. Things such as how many treats you give them, if they are allowed on the furniture and if they stay in a crate or are out free help me to stick to your regular routine. Keeping them on a similar schedule will make them more comfortable with me as well as you the owner have a better idea of what treatment they are receiving. Booking with a stranger can be stressful but hopefully this can help to put your mind at ease!

A typical day

Firstly affection! I’ll come in, give your fur baby lots of pets and scratches and then check to see if they have food and water. After that’s done we’ll go outside for a potty break. Once there back in any special treatment will be followed through with. If you’ve requested a walk we will start getting ready and head out the door to our already chosen safe walking path. I’ll get all the cooped up energy out of your puppy by letting them sniff all the fun smells and walking at a good pace for them, also, if allowed, sharing some treats as well. When we get back we will go for some water again, a last trip to the backyard and some cuddle time with the time we have left. If your dog still has lots of energy we will play a game with the time remaining instead (tug of war, fetch, etc.) I also offer runs or bike rides with your dog if notice is given and the weather permits!
