Jaime has been my dog sitter to my dog Cody for almost three years. She has been nothing short of reliable and kind and always alerts me to any significant changes. I know for sure that Cody is very comfortable with her as he will even walk with her when my son shows up unexpectedly! I am blessed to have Jaime care for Cody and never have to worry. Jaime has been an animal lover for as long as I've known her! As far back as her childhood days, she considered animals to be as important as people and definitely more interesting! This was evidenced by her frequently lining all of her Webkins up in rows so that she could read books to them. Jaime has a 12 year old Shiba Inu named Mia. She has done a great job helping to take care of Mia and train her. More recently, Mia has had a couple of instances in which she needed to see the vet. Jaime was extremely interested in going along to the vet and being present in the examination room in order to describe Mia's symptoms and ask/answer questions. Currently, Jaime has a dog walking job that she has had for a couple of years. The dog is a rescue, is fearful and not really interested in interacting with anyone but his owner...and Jaime. The dog welcomes her when she arrives and has really come a long way as a result of Jaime's training. Jaime has also taken care of numerous pets of family and friends while they were away on vacation. Very recently, she has taken care of a rescue puppy while her new forever family was working. Jaime trained the dog how to walk on a leash and also how to perform a few tricks. As a result of the dog exhibiting some peculiar behaviors, Jaime took it upon herself to research the behaviors, share what she learned, and also offered suggestions for questions to ask the vet on the pup's next visit. Jaime spent some time working at a pet supply shop. As a result, she is knowledgable with regard to what constitutes a healthy lifestyle for a dog. Jaime is a compassionate animal lover! She would make a great dog sitter for Rover.com!
