Hello there Pet Parents, my name is Jaiden ! I’m currently working from home full time but also do finish Bather Dog Bathing whenever I need extra work at Tacoma's Best Pet Grooming. I worked as a Supervisor and Foster Lead at Wet Noses Dry Paws dog daycare located in Tacoma fron 21-23. I’ve loved and cared for animals since I was 9 years old when I discovered Animal planet. I started pet sitting at family and friends houses when I was 15 but didn’t gain my professional experience until I worked at JAKs Pak doggy daycare in 2018 until Covid came along. I started off as a dog handler in which my main duties and priorities were monitoring, caring, cleaning, and nurturing for the dogs while they came to daycare and stayed overnight to board. I’ve even have bonded closely with some of my favorite dogs that their owners would ask me to keep their fur babies over night for a fun dog party. I have gained experience in administering medications/vaccines, simple grooming (bathing, blow drying, tidybwork with clippers and scissors, nail trims/grinds, anal glands, teeth brushing, and brush outs), monitoring the dogs and watching for certain behaviors that may need to be corrected to ensure pack and dog handler safety. I have gained alot of very important knowledge in identifying important dog behaviors that show signs of reactivity, anxiety, aggression, depression ect. and signs of physical or health distress. My primary goal while your dogs are under my care is to make sure they are safe, comfortable, and happy ! I truly have felt inspired to have the opportunity to work with dogs and everyday I have graitude in my soul to learn from man's bestfriend. I’d love to gain some more experience and clients as I get to meet your dogs and hope I can reach my long term goals of having a permanent place for pups and pooches and open my own boarding business one day !
