Pet care experience
I have 20 years of experience as a pet-sitter (as an adult). I grew up on a farm with all kinds of animals and have been obsessed with animals from birth (my first word was doggie). I've fostered 20 dogs and puppies. I was a Guide Dogs for the Blind puppy raiser/trainer. Experienced with all ages of dogs and cats, including many breeds & animals with special needs (sight/hearing, mobility needs, arthritis, anxiety, seizures, medication administration, sub cutaneous injections, cones, leash agresdion, prey drive, separation anxiety). I recently put my cat of 20 years to sleep. I found her as an infant and bottle fed her. I'm well-versed in elderly cat and dog care. I'm also an excellent doggie weight loss coach. I know how to gently condition a dog for exercise, including gradually increasing their activity according to a schedule to help them achieve a healthier body weight without experiencing soreness or pain. I'm the go-to pet care person for all of my friends when they travel. I had pets of my own and fosters for many years but do not currently have any pets. This means I have a ton of love, affection and attention to shower on your fur baby.

Jaiden is amazing! I needed someone to take care of my two very shy/anxious dogs for 9 days, and pretty last minute. Jaiden did all she could to accommodate our introduction meeting and was nothing short of wonderful to my pups. Her love for animals is readily evident, and they were immediately comfortable around her. She was very communicative through the time she stayed with the pups, sent pictures, and gave me updates on their days. I will absolutely reach out to Jaiden next time I need pet care and definitely recommend her. Thank you, Jaiden for being so sweet to my kids.
Jaiden is a true GEM! Her genuine love and concern for animals is very evident. Jaiden has taken such great care of our two Frenchie pups. She is very good with our pups and even offered to help train them while we were out on vacation. She is very experienced, knowledgeable and loving. Our sweet rescue, Wilbur, met Jaiden first when he bolted out of the front door and ran up to her walking her dog Mimi. As luck would have it, she was a dog walker and very experienced in dog behavior modification. For Wilbur, it was love at first sight and he was more than happy to take daily walks with Jaiden and Mimi. Jaiden was able to take a timid rescue dog and help him build confidence to become the dog he is today! About a year after adopting Wilbur, we adopted another pup from the same rescue. Nico was rough around the edges to say the least, but Jaiden never gave up on him! She helped us tremendously with his resource guarding, while he enjoyed long walks and romps with the pack. Over the years, Jaiden has become a dear friend and was even our nanny during the summer of 2020. She even stayed on to help our kids with distance learning for a few months thereafter! Needless to say, we highly recommend Jaiden for all things dog (and kids!).

I love to play with dogs and cats.i find that a little bit of exercise and mental stimulation is helpful for animals when their owner is away. If I observe your pet missing you, I will walk, play and cuddle with them to distract them. I'm AKC Certified in basic obedience training. I build training into walks. I follow the pet's schedule in order to keep them as comfortable as possible. I treat your pets like they are my own, their safety and happiness is my high priority. I've worked with senior pets, puppies and kittens, reptiles, horses, chickens, bunnies, goats, sheep, fresh water aquariums, koi, parrots, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, and geckos. Most people who see me with their animals don't want anyone else taking care of them.

A typical day
I am an active person and typically walk 5 miles per day. If your dog is high drive/high energy, I will definitely get them worn out. I'm happy to walk/jog them as much (or as little) as they want. I build training in to walks to create a routine that naturally increases your dog's obedience and urban safety skills. I can train them never to enter a street without a command, to respond to verbal cues regarding direction and pace as well as refine leash manners and social behavior (meeting other dogs and people). I love taking dogs to the beach, the dog park, on hikes, playing fetch, training, inventing games and cuddling them. I don't mind giving baths either.
