I have owned and taken care of dogs for over 20 years and have experience with obedience, potty, and confidence training. As a teenager I took care of neighbors dogs, and now i get to do what i love as an adult! I have loved every dog I meet and always enjoy giving them the personal attention and activity that they crave. I care for all of my doggy clients as if they were my own pets. I also have a 4.99 star profile on Wag! With over 100 ratings. Every dog under my care, whether it's a short walk or an extended boarding session, will get a caring and happy experience! I am doing dog care as a full time job, so I am available on mondays through fridays from 9am to 4pm for walks and drop ins, and all week for boardings. I live in a single family home with my husband and our two dogs. We have a privacy fenced in yard and two very friendly dogs who love having guests! Any dogs visiting our home will be treated like one of the pack and enjoy lots of love and attention. I am familiar with CPR and Heimlich for dogs incase of an emergency. When we were away for the entire day, Jaicy saved the day by coming by twice to feed and exercise our pooches. We were able to enjoy our day knowing that they were in good hands with Jaicy. Thanks so much for the photos, video and feedback. We are so appreciative!
Jaicy and her family seemed like a good match for our pup, who had never spent a night away from us. During the meet-and-greet, our dogs all met and played in her fenced-in yard and Jaicy asked about our dog’s history, personality, schedule, interests, and needs. We booked a short stay and at the scheduled drop-off time Jaicy worked with us to minimize our dog’s sadness about our departure. As promised, and within 1.5 hours Jaicy sent a detailed message about how our pup was coping with the situation and interacting with both the humans and the dogs in the household. Thanks to Jaicy’s updates--as well as pictures and videos—we could tell our pup was adjusting well. Our dog ended up playing a lot with Jaicy’s dog and bonding with Jaicy and her husband. When we picked up our pup the next day, we could tell she had a lot of affection for Jaicy as she was following her around the house! Jaicy and her family clearly love dogs and are skilled at taking care of them. We will definitely board our pup with Jaicy again. Her communication with us, and her expertise and overall devotion to what she does gave us peace-of-mind and provided a welcome temporary home for our dog.
Going to Jaicy’s house is a true vacation for Winston and Skippy. They get so excited to see their friends when we pull up and it just make my heart happy.

I have educated myself on dog behavior and body language to make sure all dogs are safe and healthy. I will never leave or take a dog out in unsafe weather, leave multiple dogs unattended, or put your pet at risk in any way. I am also familiar with dog CPR and heimlich maneuver. Walking and Drop Ins: I will never allow your dog off leash when outside of the home. I am fairly strong and have handled up to 150 combined pounds of Labrador strength while walking. I make sure I always keep dogs from eating trash, food, or plants off the ground, minimize phone use so that I am alert, and pay attention to your particular dogs habits to avoid issues. I make sure to lock up the house after entering, while I am out during the walk, and after leaving. Boarding: We have a great yard with a 7ft privacy fence so there is no chance of any escape artistry! we also have taken the extra step to block off areas under out deck, shed, and fence to prevent smaller dogs from squeezing under places they shouldnt. ALL DOGS WILL BE FED SEPARATELY AND KEPT SEPARATE WHEN NOT SUPERVISED. Safety is key for all dogs involved, and I will not take any chances when it comes to preventing fights. I keep up gates throughout the house so when I leave your dog(s) can be safe but still have plenty of room to move around, but also see my dogs so they don't feel lonely. I also provide the option of letting your dog stay in their own room with a bed and water, or in a large crate. PLEASE disclose if your dog has any type of resource guarding or anything that might make them aggressive. This isn't always a deal-breaker for sitters, it just ensures we set our dogs up for success and a good time!

Does the dog chew on things other than toys, such as wires, plants, furniture? When requesting a walk or drop in, please let me know if there is a broader window of time that works for you? Because of the nature of this job, it is very difficult to come at an exact time every day.
A typical day
Walks through our very safe neighborhood and plenty of backyard time for chase and fetch. We always have pretty quiet evenings watching tv or playing games. In summer we will have a little wading pool to cool off in. Rutger loves to play with other dogs, so if your dog is social and energetic, they will have a great time! There are plenty of toys for active dogs and beds for the slower ones, as well as the opportunity for quieter dogs to "retreat" to another room for some quiet time if other dogs are too loud. My younger dog, Rutger LOVES every dog that we have boarded and makes fast friends with even the most timid dogs. Nyla is older and mostly minds her own business, but she does love to play outside, especially with smaller dogs.

Availability
I do walking and drops ins full time Monday-friday during work hours, and our boarding is available 24/7 as long as we are! Since I have dogs of my own, I always arrange my schedule so they aren't alone for too long! A plus for boarding your dogs with another dog owner is that pet care is always a part of their routine!
