Pet care experience
Happy to take care of your pets! I have cared and sat for, loved on, hiked, and walked pets professionally for years as self employed person, through Rover, and through companies like Denver Dog Hikers. I have engaged rabbits, dogs, Russian turtles, parakeets, chickens and cats and am not afraid to learn more. I enjoy traveling a bit for sits too.

Jai was a great pet and house sitter. He provided pictures and updates every day. I loved hearing about his and Ivy's day. I would recommend him and plan to use him in the future!
If I could give 6 stars I would!!! Jai was very attentive with our kitten, Marlow. He checked in on him everyday and made sure Marlow had a playmate and food and water. Jai was very knowledgeable about kittens so when Marlow got a little too playful he knew exactly how to handle the situation. I know Marlow is looking forward to the next time Jai cat sits him.
Jai was fantastic with our two pups during our week long vacation. He was really flexible with timing, took extra care of our senior dog (including making sure she got her daily meds) and kept our younger dog entertained and even got her out for a jog (quite a feat!) I got regular updates and daily pictures / videos and felt super comfortable with Jai every step of the way. I love that Jai left the house in even better condition than it was when he arrived...icing on the cake! Thanks Jai - you'll be our first call next time we need to head out of town!
Jai was such a lifesaver and came through to watch my three pups at the last minute when I was caught in a bind, including two hugely energetic boys and one quirky elderly fellow! Jai sent great updates with photos, checked in with questions about eating habits and generally made me feel assured they were in good hands! And the house was spotless when I got back!

When taking care of animals in your home I will follow whatever needs and likes are present for your particular animal. I have no problem following directions. Ask me to keep a gate closed or make sure your pet doesn't get aggressive around other animals or anything else that will keep your home and animal(s) safe, healthy, and happy. Let me know a bit about your home/apt./cabin if I will be pet sitting for you. I will maintain a clean home and think we can both appreciate finding the space tidy. I will avoid dog parks and spaces with lots of other dogs if you are worried about pup getting a cough, flu or disease. Let’s meet in good health only. Thank you! I Iook forward to hearing from you.

Please let me know if your animal has any special needs as I am more than capable of making sure your pet is well cared for. What foods can they eat, when do they like or need to eat, do they take any medications, are they allowed on furniture, how frequently do they go outside or for walks, and how do they interact with other people and animals…all good pieces of information for me. :-)
A typical day
Dog friendly open nature spaces can be great for walks. If your dog is high energy I'm also happy to play fetch or whatever they enjoy.I hike or walk animals more than run. Cuddles, pets and treats for good behavior, comfort, love and tricks are all also part of a good day!
