Pet care experience
Long time pet lover. I’ve had cats, gerbils, rabbits, and dogs over the course of time. Currently we have three dogs: lab, lab mix, and golden retriever. I have experience grooming our dogs and caring for minor irritations. I have trained them each various tricks and obedience as well as some hunting skills. I know simple tricks to help your pups unset stomach with a simple easy to digest diet of rice and chicken. Also, can calm anxiety with an ace wrap and a gentle walk. I love getting to know an animal’s personality and working one-on-one training and engaging their minds. Dogs and cats get the winter blues too and need to work those minds and bodies.

I wanted someone who could handle my dog and enforce his rules and training while also having fun; and I found that in Jael! She listened intently while I explained his expectations and commands, and enforced them exactly as asked. Onyx clearly had a ton of fun with her because after only one walk he was excited to see her again. She was flexible with times and on time, we will definitely be keeping Jael as our walker! Highly recommend!
Jael is a caring and trustworthy person, who loves dogs. She has a few of her own that she has trained to be very obedient. I have spent time with her around animals and she is very comfortable loving and playing with them. I would trust my dog with her anytime!
Keeps me informed on how my dog is doing. Sends me photo updates. Which is nice, get to see my dog while I’m at work!
Jael has watched our puppy, Cash, on multiple occasions! She is great with dogs, Cash can't get enough of her when she is over and she is happy to give him extra attention. Jael is energetic, keeps up with her own three dogs, and still is available to help us when needed. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a caregiver for their pets!

It is important to know if the dog has anxiety towards specific people, places, or things. This helps me be on the look out to keep the interaction low stress and enjoyable for the dog. I also like to know what the dogs biggest motivation: praise, pets, or treats. This helps build the trust with the dog.
A typical day
I like to play fetch and go in walks with the dog I watch. While walking I often chat about what’s going on and where we are going. I like to change pace while walking and walk new routes often. This gives the dog more variety and smells. It helps to mentally exercise them as well as physically.

Availability
Pet care is a daily routine. With three kids and three dogs, they all need ways move their bodies and work their minds. We find fun games that the kids and dogs can be involved in. Like hide and seek.
