I’ve been in the animal industry for 8 years and can’t imagine not including animals in my work! I’ve worked in pet retail/care, pet boarding, and have been a professional dog groomer for almost 4 years.

Jade was great! You can tell she is a huge dog lover. She took great care of our dog for the weekend and took her on lots of walks! She gave us updates and was very sweet. We would definitely use her again!

Jade was amazing! She watched our two Heeler-mix pups over Memorial Day weekend, and they both settled right in with her immediately. It's very clear that she is passionate about animals, and I think that the animals can tell! She was also quick to respond to my initial request and was very accommodating and flexible with her schedule. I will definitely reach out to Jade again in the future!

I live in downtown Grand Rapids, so we will be taking walks like nobody’s business! There’s also a dog park that’s within 5 minutes of me that I frequent. I am flexible and willing to adapt to whatever lifestyle your dog is used to living; up on the couch for snuggles or a strict floor pet, a routine feeding schedule or free feed .. whatever boundaries you and your pet have, I can apply them while they stay with me.

I ask that if a pet is being boarded in my house, they come clean or that we can set up an appointment for them and I can give them a good groom before they come!
A typical day
There’s endless amounts of places to take the dogs to explore in the city. Some of my favorite places to take the dogs is a walk by the Grand River, a local dog park, or Studio Park because they always get so much attention and love there!

Availability
My current availability is Friday evening through Tuesday evening. I can do early morning walks in the Grand Rapids area (before 8 am) or evening walks and pet sitting after 6 pm Wednesday-Friday. I have no problem boarding those days, but be advised that your pets will be alone for upwards of 8 hours. Upon a behavioral assessment, I would be willing to take your dog to work with me on those days if you were boarding. Please contact me if you’re looking for specifics (especially on walks and drop ins, those are no problem at all) and I’m sure we can work something out!
