I’ve had two foster dogs before deciding to adopt my own American Foxhound mix puppy. She is now 2 years old. My own dog has anxiety, which has helped me learn about various and best methods to train. We work daily on building confidence!

A typical day
My favorite thing to do with dogs are go on walks! Especially sniffing walks! My dog is a hound so she loves having unstructured (but obedient!) walks so that she can explore her surroundings. She has high anxiety, so sniffing helps her feel more comfortable. I also love doing food puzzles! Like hiding treats around the house or using a toy treat dispenser!

Availability
I work from home now, so I am open to going during my lunch break and after work. Because I work from home, I’m looking for more reasons to be outside, and walking a dog is the best way to do that.
