Pet care experience
I currently have two german shepherds. I worked for a boarding and day care place for dogs called Pup Up Hooray back at home in SoCal for a little over a year. My love for dogs and all animals has been visible since I was a little girl. I used to also take care of many dogs when I was in middle school as well before I got my current dogs. My first semester of college, I helped take care of my friend’s cat! I am currently majoring in animal science and plan to be a veterinarian in the near future.

Jade was an amazing dog sitter a true animal lover. She was very good at making my Dog Nala feel loved and comfortable. She sent me pictures and videos the whole. Nala was very happy with Jade. I would definitely trust Jade with your fur babies.
Jade is fantastic with pets, I’ve watched her take care of numerous animals at her pet boarding job and then even more love with her own dogs. She always wants to give her puppies more love and constantly is going to PetCo or other places to buy treats, toys, or just to look at the fish. Anyone would be lucky to have Jade caring for their furry friend.

I am very familiar with dog and cat behaviors and know when to take them in and out of a situation, and how to properly care for them. As I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, and house sitting, I realize leaving your dog with basically a stranger can be scary, but I do have a lot of experience with animals and recognize the many behaviors a dog and cat can portray throughout their walk and/or stay. I can assure you that I know how to control your pet in any situation!

I would like to know if you have a preference on how I walk your dog(s) and much more. I would also like to know their behavior around other dogs and people, and simply how they act around their environment. Every dog is different and I would love to get to personally connect with the dog(s) to make sure they are comfortable.
A typical day
I like to get to know the dog before doing anything freely with them. However, I love to keep them on their feet whether it be running down the street with them or giving them a ball to mess around with after the walk. I always love to engage with the dog and make sure they are also comfortable as I realize they are in a whole nee environment they are not familiar with. Keeping your pet company is something that I absolutely love doing and of course prioritize. I also prioritize your pets health and their needs at all times. I do have a friend who loves to help me with house sitting and drop in visits because she wants to know I am safe, but she is just as big of an animal lover as me! I would still be caring for your pet and their needs, but I do want your pet and you to be comfortable with one more person with me.

Availability
I am currently attending Chico State University, but since I have a lot of free time throughout my week, I wanted to take the time to walk dogs and even pet sitting! I can get my daily exercise in while also walking and playing with the dogs! I am free all day on the weekends. I am also free to do house sitting and drop in visits on the weekends. I am free Monday and Friday anytime after 11am. Tuesday through Wednesday is a little tough since I have long classes, but I am available for late afternoon walks!
