Hi, my name is Jade! I’m a college student-athlete living in Lakeland, FL. I play basketball for Southeastern University! I have been around dogs for my whole life and have owned dogs for around 15 years. I have specifically taking care of family’s and friends dogs that has a vizsla, Great Dane, pitbull, bulldog, lab, anatolian shepherd, cocker spaniel, and more. I love sports and being outside, so playing and walking dogs are something that I enjoy. My parents currently own two dogs (lhasa apso and a shih tzu toy poodle), and I help out with taking care of them: feeding, walking, and playing. My oldest dog, Sarge, is 15 and has had a lot of medical issues, so I have spent a decent amount of time giving him medicine, taking him for vet visits, and simply just laying down with him so he felt more comfortable. I’ve also volunteered at a dog shelter in Colorado and worked with a ton of rescues; I do know how to care for timid and shy dogs, but also know how to care for energetic dogs! I’ve taken in some stray dogs and was able to re-home them and get them healthy! I love dogs and it makes me genuinely happy being around them! I’m excited to meet you and your beloved dog!
