Pet care experience
I have always had animals in my home growing up. In college, I lived on a farm with two dogs, two cats, and my three goats! I love animals of all shapes and sizes, walks of life, breed and species. I have both large and small breed experience as well as senior dog experience. No matter what your pet is, I will always go the extra mile. Daily medication? No problem. Dietary restrictions? Taken care of. I have experience with giving both oral and injection medication, as well as experience with shy and nervous dogs. I know that your pet is more than just an "animal". They're family, and that is how they will be treated: with love, respect, and lots of attention!

Jade was great with our energetic pup! She was very professional, communicative, took wonderful pictures and asked great questions during our initial meeting. She was also flexible with a last-minute schedule change. We felt very comfortable with our dog in her care and would definitely hire her again!!

Jade was wonderful with my dogs, and I felt good knowing she was taking care of them! She came over to meet my dogs, 7 and 9 y/o pits, before I needed her to watch the dogs to meet them and make sure they were comfortable with her. She asked good questions about their habits and anything in particular that she needed to do for them. Jade sent videos and pictures updates of them to me once a day and went over to let them out twice a day. I definitely recommend Jade – I will be asking her to watch my pups again in the future :)

I understand safety and trust is a huge part of letting someone care for your pet. If your pet comes to my home, I have a very friendly English Mastiff and cat and a fully fenced in yard for them! When it comes to staying or dropping in at your home, I will follow all your instructions to a T, and will be happy to provide you with lots of photos and videos of how the visit is going. When I am caring for a pet, nothing is more important than their safety and happiness. I will give them my full attention to ensure a great time is had.

Please let me know if there are any behavioral quirks or issues your pet has so I can be as prepared as possible. If you have a nervous or shy dog I will be more than happy to do multiple meet and greets with you to ensure they are fully comfortable with me while you’re away. Additionally, please let me know if there are any medications or allergies that your pet has.
A typical day
A typical day with me depends on your pet’s specific needs. I love to do “ice cube parties” (carefully supervised of course), running around and playing with their toys, and of course lots of mental enrichment. I have plenty of dog puzzles and a snuffle rug that I can provide to ensure your pup gets tired out. For cats I love playing with wand toys and also using the snuffle rug (my cat LOVES it). I also know lots of places in the South Windsor/Vernon/Manchester area that are dog-safe and dog-friendly.

Availability
I work from home from on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays and my weekends are free which means I will have plenty of flexibility to take care of your furry friend.
