I have had pets my entire life - cats, dogs, birds, reptiles, and more! I currently have 2 cats of my own - Herbie and Tiger - who are entering their senior years. I grew up with the tiniest of dogs (chihuahuas) and the biggest (St. Bernard's) and everything in between. Don't let my size fool you, I have a soft spot for large dogs and love the "aggressive" (not true!) breeds - I promise I can handle them! 😉 I have a lot of different medication experience, including injectables (although I'd prefer to do a meet and greet with a walkthrough for any medications, if possible). I also have a lot of experience with tempermental animals, and I am VERY strict with following whatever directions you give! I also have experience with a variety of special needs pets.

Jade did an outstanding job of caring for our two corgis at our home while we were on a weekend trip. She arrived on time, had carefully reviewed all the written information I’d supplied about our dogs, and was able to establish immediate rapport with them. (This was amazing, since our older dog is usually very standoffish with strangers.) Jade sent us pictures of the dogs’ activities throughout the weekend and kept us informed about how they were doing. I would highly recommend Jade: she is highly experienced, trustworthy and capable. We plan to contact her again!
This was our first time using Rover for house sitting our two dogs and Jade made the whole process such a positive experience for us. She was extremely responsive and took the time to do two meet and greets with our dogs before we left for out of town. While we were out of town she communicated with us everyday via the app and sent pictures. We are so happy with Jade and her care, we’ve already booked her for an upcoming trip . We are repeat clients of Jade’s for sure!!!
Jade is awesome! She checked in and gave updates throughout her stay with Cleo and also sent photos. It's obvious how much she loves animals, and I can't wait to book her again soon!

I have multiple years of experience in handling animals of all sizes, temperaments, breeds, and friendliness levels! In my professional life, I direct multiple group homes for adults with disabilities and can pass even stricter background checks than Rover's - the only clue you'll have that I was in your home is a happy and healthy pet with lots of pictures along the way! 😀 ...except you may end up with some free diet coke in the fridge, bad habit of mine forgetting them, hah!

I would like to know breed, approximate weight, age, temperament, and any triggers that you are aware of. I will also need to know friendliness with other animals as I will take dogs to the dog park if requested.
A typical day
I'm down for whatever your pet enjoys the most! If that's a walk around the block, a couple of hours of fetch at the dog park, or a laser pointer with a feline friend - totally customizable! I do work 730am-4pm M-F but can provide midday checks, on request, in the Apple Valley/Burnsville area. I will also take any excuse to walk a dog around the lakes in Minneapolis so please let me know how they are with other dogs/people!
