I've taken care of small and large dogs as a youth, college student and adult. From Maltese / Dachshunds to Labradors / German Shepherds, I have found that all dogs at their core are the same...they just want to be loved, have fun and participate in enrichment. When caring for your fur baby I focus on their needs, and provide individual care and attention. I prioritize upholding current training, routine and your pup's "way of life" so that your pet doesn't feel like they are away from you or their home. It's my personal goal to make your pet feel loved like my own fur baby, and to ensure they have the time of their lives while you're away! Some quick facts about me, I've trained my 5 year old German Shepherd since he was 8 weeks old who is very sweet, but was extremely reactive to his leash, other dogs and moving cars / bicycles. I worked with him with a specialist when he was 2 years old, and have maintained his training. We have been enjoying off leash adventures, eating at restaurants and shopping at various stores together ever since. I have experience caring for special needs dogs (i.e. blind or deaf) both in their domain and mine. I learned early utilizing hand signals or specific recall words make all the difference. I spend off time playing and teaching tricks to my family and neighbor's pets. I enjoy taking my dogs and family / friends' dogs on hikes, to get their favorite pup treat and to try new things so that they can experience the adventures of the world.
