I am a dog lover with over four years experience walking and training dogs, alongside a year's experience caring for cats. As I care for pets full-time, I have good availability and I am often able to help out with short-notice bookings. I'm happy to work with all pets having worked with rescues, anxious and reactive dogs, cats and small mammals. I am comfortable with high energy dogs that need a lot exercise and stimulation, and have hands on experience as I own my own (high-energy) dog (staffie mix). I am also comfortable with large and giant breeds, and have worked with many in the past, so I am happy walking them (to parks/on the road) or taking care of them at home. When dog sitting/walking, I always make sure to have suitable activities prepared for the dogs to ensure that their energy needs are met, and make sure to keep them mentally engaged and physically active. I am happy to look after more than one dog at a time, and have walked groups of dogs in the past. I also regularly care for cats, providing them with their meals and adding enrichment to their day through play and pets while their owners are away. I have always had cats growing up, so I am used to all aspects of caring for them and familiar with their behaviour/body language. I have also had experience with young litters including formula feeding. I love pets and enjoy the time I spend looking after them, I hope to have the chance to meet yours. I am able to fit in dogs walks and drop-in visits on weekdays with short notice. When looking after dogs in their homes, I am careful to stick to their usual routine and keep them as comfortable as possible. I am also careful to enforce any training that has been started with the owner, such as crate training or behaviour around the furniture. I care for pets full-time, able to provide care to your pets 7 days a week. I am happy to do early morning and evening check ins, to fit your pets routine. I make sure your pets are always comfortable and cared for just as they would be were you home with them. I make sure to keep their routine as close to normal as possible, and provide them with reassurance should they miss you.
