Pet care experience
Animals have always been a part of my life and I intend to keep it that way. I have cared for a variety of dog breads including (but not limited to) Yorkshire Terriers, French Bulldogs, Labradors, Retrievers, Boxers, Pitbulls, American Staffordshire Terriers, Hound Mixes, Great Danes, and other mixed breeds. I am a big proponent of addressing impulse control, as well as creating structure after seeing such positive results in our dog's behavior since implementing these principles. As a Social Worker I bring my emotional intelligence, understanding of behavior modification, and sensitivity into each of my interactions with animals. I am comfortable adjusting my energy level and interventions to match your animal's personality and preferences. My goal is to care for your pet as you would and ensure their health and wellbeing while you are away.

Jade was easy and pleasant to communicate with. She provided detailed updates on her visits with my cat, which I appreciated.
Jade was a delight to work with and an excellent walker for our big, senior pit bull. :) They connected very well. She was on time and very thorough with his walking and feeding directions. We definitely recommend her and are excited to use her services again in the future!
Jade is an amazing sitter! She took such great care of my anxious pup and made her feel right at home. My dog loved playing with her dog Winston, and Jade was very good about introducing our dogs slowly and making sure they were good together before agreeing to take care of my dog while I was away. Jade took my dog on lots of walks and made sure she got plenty of playtime. She sent me pictures and updates daily, and she was great about keeping in touch and communicating with me frequently. I would highly recommend Jade to absolutely anyone, and I'll certainly be calling her again if I ever need a sitter!
Jade was great! She was on-time and reliable for walking our black lab. She took her for long walks and gave her good exercise. She was available on short notice as well. We will definitely use Jade again!

We have a moderate sized fenced backyard that we share with a well behaved doggie neighbor. Our neighborhood is quiet, beautiful, and safe with easy access to Wissahickon trails.

Only dogs who are non reactive around cats would work well in our home. We would also need to have a meet-and-greet with our dog Winston prior to a stay to ensure both dogs feel safe and comfortable with one another. For new clients I am only able to accept boarding requests for a minimum of three days. Same day requests will not be accepted.
A typical day
The greatest benefit of our location is daily walks in the Wissahickon! If long walks in the woods aren't what your pup is looking for there is always the option to walk around the neighborhood or hang out in the back yard.
