Hi! I’m Jade :) I’m currently looking for recurring house sitting/dog walking. My current availability varies as I currently also work at a dog kennel/breeder, but my shifts are typically 7-2pm or 2-8pm, and 2 days off a week, so feel free to message me and I’ll let you know when I’m available. I’ve been pet sitting through rover for over a year and a half now, and have loved every second of it. Before that, I had sat for friends and family for about 3 years, and have had animals all of my life. I started helping around my grandmas farm when I was only 3 (helping is a bit of an overstatement, I’m sure at that age all I was doing was getting in the way, but I still enjoyed it anyway) at 10 years old I was responsible for feeding, brushing, and overall taking care of my 2 miniature donkeys, 2 goats, and sheep, as well as a dog and a cat. I have experience in caring for reptiles, chickens, livestock, dogs and cats. Animals have always been my life, and they’re what make me the happiest. I worked as a dog bather/brusher at a local groom shop, and I currently work for a dog breeder/kennel so I have lots of experience with every personality, behavior issue, and dog breed you can think of. I have 3 dogs of my own, a German Shepherd and a German Husky, and a rescue pit mix whose going to be 17 this year! I AM CURRENTLY ONLY DOING DOG WALKING OR HOUSE SITTING/DROP IN VISITS! My youngest dog Sam has been having some protectiveness issues when at home (he’s fine anywhere else) so I’m limiting his interactions with dogs at my house to only dogs he and I know to prevent any bad things happening until he gets more confident and isn’t as protective. He’s more than fine with dogs outside of the home, so if you’d like to do a meet and greet for dog walking so your pup can have a fun doggy partner on walks, I’d be more than happy to bring one of my dogs :) I do have experience administering oral and subcutaneous medications to both dogs and cats. *NOT CURRENTLY DOING BOARDING OR DOGGY DAYCARE** For boarding and doggy daycare I require that your dog be fully vaccinated for the health and safety of everyone involved, and of course no aggressive dogs. If your pup is nervous around dogs or new environments, I recommend choosing house sitting that way they can stay in their comfortable environment to limit the amount of stress as much as possible. My main goal is to be sure your pups are as comfortable and happy as possible. I prefer doing meet and greets ESPECIALLY if the dogs will be coming to my home. 2 of my dogs are still young, so certain dogs may not be thrilled about their energy level (they aren’t aggressive at all, but sometimes they do get a bit too excited and it can be stressful to other dogs. We’re working on it 🤪) Services I offer *ONLY DOG WALKING AND HOUSE SITTING CURRENTLY* Doggy daycare: drop your pups off in the morning and pick them up in the evening. —-I AM ALWAYS WILLING TO WORK WITH YOU ON PRICING!!—- your dogs happiness is my #1 priority and I know dog sitters can be expensive, and I’m not only in this for the money, so if money is an issue, just have a conversation with me and we can work out something that works for both of us.

We can’t say enough about the incredible care Jade provided our puppy. At only 5 months old, our dog had not received much socializing. Our anxiety level skyrocketed when we found out we would be out of state for a family event. Jade and her dogs were just what was needed! Jade is a very warm, yet businesslike person. She was prompt to reply, and came promptly for a pre-visit. Sophia loved all the loving attention she got from Jade. I’d hire her again!!!!
I hired Jade to walk my Pug Nugz while I was working in Paso for a few days. She is a great communicator and responds quickly. Nugz looked like he was having fun when she sent me pics. Jade made my first Rover experience a great one. I will definitely hire her when I return for work! Thanks Jade!!!
Jade was terrific with my cats. My 7 year old cat (Harvey) requires meds twice a day for a heart condition. Jade was very responsible to Harvey's needs; she visited my home twice a day. I was gone for 6 days. Jade was on time and able to give Harvey his meds. She sent me photos of Harvey. During each visit, Jade would spend time giving the cats attention. The other cat is Allie. Allie is shy, and was likely just happy to know someone was there to visit and refresh the food and water. I definitely intend to contact Jade again for future cat sitting services.

HOUSE SITTING: when not at work I will be with your dogs all of my free time, playing, walking, feeding (and medications if needed) included, and bathing/brushing at an extra charge. If your pups are good in the car, we can also go on adventures like hikes or the dog park, or just do walks around the neighborhood if you prefer. I can stay at your home overnight, or come early in the morning and leave late, whichever you and your pup(s) prefer. That being said, I do my best to keep their usual walk/food/potty break schedule so everything continues on smoothly for them and limits any stress they might feel from not having their parents home. I will also happily clean your house for you while you’re away, just leave me a list of what you need done and I’ll get it done for ya :) DROP-IN VISITS: 30 minutes of feeding, walking, and playtime (and medication if needed). If you’d like more time, be sure to schedule for more visits. If you’d rather, I’ll usually play with your pup and love on them and make sure they’re fed, watered, and let out to stretch their legs and use the bathroom, instead of going out for a walk. DOG WALKING: I can walk your pup around your neighborhood, or take them to a cool spot to walk/hike if they do ok in the car, or even take them to the dog park. if you have a higher energy pup, I recommend scheduling 2 walks. They can be split up, or done back to back, whichever you prefer. I like to do a trip to the dog park for 30 min for some socialization and maybe a round of fetch if they’re up for it, and then a walk for 30 min.

If your dog is good off leash, be sure to let me know! Of course I’ll be sure to take it slow, because naturally dogs may be great off leash with their owners, but with a stranger can be completely different. What I usually do with this is start off at the dog park, practicing recall with them to see how they listen to me, then if they do well I put them on a long leash and go for a walk, again practicing recall, and if anything goes south I have a long leash to grab if they try to run. But off leash bring in a whole lot more opportunity for fun, including the beach, and off leash walks and hikes! If anything makes your pup nervous, be sure to let me know. Any weird behaviors, quirks, etc should be addressed during a meet and greet, or through text beforehand. If your dogs are not allowed on furniture, please be sure to let me know. Otherwise they will have free access to any bed or couch they please.
A typical day
I love going on hikes, so if your pup is up for it and does okay in the car, I’d love to take them on a trail with me! Beach trips are also my fav! Me and my pups frequent Avila dog beach, and I love for your pup(s) to come along for the fun! Usually in the morning I take dogs to the dog park, then on a quick walk mid day (about 30-45 min), and then in the evening a longer hike (if your dogs is lower energy, or a senior, this amount of exercise can of course be adjusted, but that’s a typical day for me and my high-energy pups :)
