I have always grown up around bigger dogs, especially Labrador Retrievers. All of the dogs that I grew up with were just basic family dogs that knew general commands. Within the past three years, I have learned and been around Labs that are being taught extensive commands, are well-behaved, and are being trained to be hunting dogs. I have found that I am well-versed in both dogs that are family and/or working dogs. I currently own a black AKC Registered Labrador Retriever that is well-trained in various aspects.
