Pet care experience
Since I was a little girl, I've always had dogs! Currently, I have an Australian Shepherd of my own who I thoroughly enjoy spending time with. I've been a caretaker for past roommates dogs, as well as occasionally watched friends dogs. I have experience giving oral medication to dogs, as well as caring for injured dogs - my own Aussie tore her ACL last year, resulting in a few months of recovery after surgery. I am familiar with many training techniques and am happy to work with dogs others may see as "difficult." Each dog is unique and wonderful in their own way; I'd love to get the chance to know the qualities of yours! Your dog will be in great hands with me!

Jade is a responsible, caring, loving, and attentive person who takes excellent care of our Australian Shepherd, Lola. She is gentle and well organized in caring for dogs, and will absolutely give any dog that crosses her path her complete attention and love. And dogs love her too!
Jade is a very responsible and loving dog caregiver. In the 7+ years I’ve known her, she has always put her own dog’s needs first and made her a priority, whether it was her health needs or training or working on her behavior. She is very active with her dog and is always taking her on walks and new adventures. While we lived together in college, she also helped me care for my own dog when I was in class or out of town and treated him like he was her own. I am confident she will make a wonderful dog sitter for Rover.com!
Jade is one of the best dog parents I know! She's so intuitive about her dog's needs, and Lola is SO amazingly loved. We lived together in college with our other roommate's dog and Jade was great with both dogs, whether that was just regular dog responsibilities like walking them together or being disciplinarian with them when she needed to be. She loves dogs and would be an amazing caregiver for yours!

I enjoy taking my own dog on walks around our neighborhood and to nearby parks. I'd be happy to take your dog on their normal route or explore a new one if you'd like! I'm comfortable taking dogs to parks but would prefer to get to know a dog before taking them to an off-leash dog park.
