I have been caring for animals since I could walk. This includes dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, birds, lizards, etc.! I've personally owned three dogs of which I've trained and administered medications. My training was devoted to creating gentle, even-tempered animals that work well with people of all ages and backgrounds, especially children. Apart from that, I have cared for well over 30 dogs of various sizes and species including vicious animals.  Furthermore, my training in psychology allows me to access animal behavior effectively, so any behavior or health issues noticed will be taken seriously and will be reported. I am currently a graduating senior at The Alabama State University of which I attend full-time. I am a work-study student, so at least 20 hours of my week will be spent on campus for work along with with my courses on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and my participation in extracurricular activities. My schedule is flexible with the exception of these two days, and some holidays. My home has a fenced yard and is located in a dog-friendly neighborhood. Your animal will be able to roam freely around my home, but I ask that a traveling crate is brought along for precautionary measures. I also ask that preferred foods are brought with your pet. Otherwise, your pet will be fed the dog food I have available which may require additional charges. Your pet will be adequately exercised by walking, playing, etc., and trips to the dog park are highly likely. There are three other adults and one child in my home who share my love for animals and will ensure the safety and exceptional care of your beloved pet(s). I also have a two-year-old Labrador who is gentle and playful with new/other animals of all types.
