I have had my own dogs for the past 15 years as well as caring for friends and neighbours animals when I have been asked to.

Jacquie has been amazing. She is reliabke and puntual. She sends updates and pictures of her visit. Most importantly, Miles likes her.
Jacquie has been dog sitting my dog Cooper twice a week now for three months. I don’t know what I would do without her. She’s easy to communicate with, very flexible if work needs require me to change our plans, and she is the biggest part of my support network to be honest. Cooper absolutely loves her, Normally, obviously I don’t see them together as she comes when I am at work, but once you had to nip back to collect something and so I saw that he was so excited to see her, and it really made my heart swell. I just don’t need to worry about him when they’re together and the days that she looks after him I skipping to work completely relaxed. In fact, he probably gets more walks with Jacquie than he does with me. I love Jacquie’s updates and Rover report cards and all the photos that she sends me really prove that she is a fantastic dog lover.
Jacquie looked after Devo (first time for him) and all went very smoothly. Jacquie sent updates throughout as requested and we had a very happy dog when we got back home. Jacquie is very easy to get on with and clearly loves animals.
Jacquie was fantastic and our dog Freddie was very happy and comfortable with her. Jacquie was so flexible and accommodating. We highly recommend her!

I will always treat the animal as I would treat my own. In fact I have realised I treat them with even more care and attention because they are someone else’s - It’s important to remember the owner needs updating and they need to be kept informed about the welfare of their pet when they are apart.

Does your animal have any medical issues. Are there things which ‘trigger’ them. What are their likes and dislikes, what is their routine, what activities do they prefer, how are they with other dogs children and cats etc, how are they in the car how long can they be walked and any other info to make the animal feel less like everything has changed and is unfamiliar. It’s very important that I am aware of all their querks so honesty is important - even if your dog has behaviour issues we can work together to keep everyone safe and happy.
A typical day
We have a lovely quiet park 6 minutes walk from my home and also a lovely woodland walk 5 mins from home. We can play in my garden which is large enough for dogs to have a good run and puppies can explore but will be given a time out to ensure lots of rest

Availability
I am available every day of the week - I ideally want to make this my main employment because i enjoy the work so much it doesn’t feel like work ! I want to reassure owners that their pets are safe and happy so they can just go and do whatever they need to do without any added pressure/worry. I understand that leaving your beloved pet can make not only the animal anxious but also the owners.
