[FR & EN] Bonjour ! Je m'appelle Jacques, j'ai 25 ans et en Ă©tĂ© 2018 j'ai emmĂ©nagĂ© Ă Paris pour mes Ă©tudes. Je me suis tout de suite inscrit sur Rover (anciennement DogBuddy) par curiositĂ© et pour aider les personnes n'ayant pas le temps ou l'espace pour s'occuper de leurs animaux. Au fil du temps c'est devenu une vĂ©ritable passion. En 2022 j'ai dĂ©mĂ©nagĂ© au Kremlin-BicĂȘtre pour un appartement plus spacieux dans lequel je peux garder des chats aux cĂŽtĂ©s des deux miens ! Certains de mes clients sont avec moi depuis plusieurs annĂ©es, mais c'est toujours un plaisir de rencontrer chiens comme chats et d'apprendre Ă les connaĂźtre ! Je promĂšne principalement des chiens, mais j'effectue Ă©galement des visites Ă domicile pour chiens et chats. Cependant je ne peux malheureusement pas garder de chien chez moi pour le moment, uniquement des chats. Ă bientĂŽt j'espĂšre ! ///// Hello! My name is Jacques, I'm 25 years old and I moved to Paris for my studies in the summer of 2018. I immediately signed up for Rover out of curiosity, to help people who might not have the time or space to care for their pets. However, over time it has grown into a real passion of mine! In 2022 I moved to the Kremlin-BicĂȘtre for a more spacious apartment in which I can host cats alongside my own two. Some of my customers have been with me for several years now, some have been sporadic, but in every case it is always a genuine pleasure to meet new pets and to get to know them ! I usually walk dogs, but I also do drop-in visits for both cats and dogs. However I can't currently keep any dogs in my home - just cats. I hope to see you soon !

Mes deux chats sont sociables, mais uniquement avec d'autres chats ! J'ai gardĂ© d'autres chats chez moi pendant plusieurs semaines et aprĂšs un ou deux jours d'ajustement, ils se sont toujours trĂšs bien entendus avec les miens. Je suis prĂ©sent dans l'appartement (50mÂČ) avec ma copine toute la journĂ©e, donc nous sommes lĂ pour jouer avec et surveiller les chats. Ils ne manqueront jamais d'attention ! Both of my cats are sociable, but only with other cats! I have kept other cats at my apartment for several weeks in the past, and after a couple of days of adjustment they always end up getting along. My girlfriend and myself are always present in the apartment (50mÂČ) to keep an eye on the cats and play with them. They will never lack attention!

J'aime tous les animaux, sans exception ! Cela dit, j'aime bien connaßtre le tempérament d'un chien avant de m'en occuper - est-ce qu'il s'entend bien avec les autres chiens, est-ce qu'il a tendance à manger des saletés par terre, etc. I love all animals, no exceptions! That being said, I like to know what to expect before taking care of a dog - Do they get along well with other dogs, will they try to eat things off the ground, etc.
A typical day
Je découvre encore le nouveau quartier, donc je suis ouvert aux recommandations de parcs ! Au Champ de Mars j'avais l'habitude de rencontrer les autres chiens du coin, et de jouer au baton / à la balle. I'm still discovering the new neighbourhood, so I'm open to suggestions for places to go! At the Champ de Mars I used to walk around and meet the other dogs in the neighbourhood, as well as play fetch with a stick or a ball.

Je suis actuellement en télétravail et je peux gérer mes heures comme je le souhaite. Cela veut dire que je suis présent en permanence pour m'occuper des chats, et que je peux prendre une pause pour visiter ou promener un chien à tout moment ! I am currently working from home, and can manage my time independently. This means I'm always around to take care of cats staying over, and I can take a break to visit or walk a dog at any moment!
